New Music: KTX
We catch up with the band members of “KTX” Kyle (Lead Singer) and Jon (Guitar player) .To talk about their music, musical tastes and KTX’s EP.
Kyle has an incredible voice. He is a versatile musician and a great songwriter. He plays drums and keys. He was the guest entertainer in a Cruise Ship in Sydney, Australia. Traveling the South Pacific Islands and Fiji.
Jon it’s a badass guitarist. He has played in several bands from Classic rock, Jazz, Heavy metal and Funk. Playing with the best musicians in Los Angeles. He created “Musical Way Academy” which offers high quality music lessons.
Jon And Kyle met in the summer time in 2013, when they played together “Hairspray”(Musical).
Musical Influences: Steve Wonder, Earth, Wind and Fire and Dirty Loops.

How was the recording process for this EP?
Jon: We did a lot mostly at Kyle’s studio. Kyle played down a lot of the tracks since he can play drums and keys. Marcus our drummer recorded all drums in one weekend. I came in from time to time. We all ready had some recorded of my guitar, some arrangements. But we recorded a lot.
How is your creative process?
Jon: Kyle write the lyrics of the songs, and I’m kind of more like the producer role, I would say. I’ll make changes here and there. Try this, let’s do this.. you know.
Kyle: I like to present my ideas and be open to new ideas. Like in the song “Say what you must say” started as a synth lead line, but then we changed up and guitar ended up becoming a melody.
